This pattern is ideal for creating a knitted sweater for a toddler. The color image was scanned from a catalog dating back to the 1960s. Note that this pattern is specifically designed for toddler sizes only.  Originally knit with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, a worsted weight with approx 140 yards per 2-ounce skein at the time. With the variety of  yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Requires  size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm), and 7 (4.5 mm).
